Foundations Family Childcare is a licensed home-based child care. I have been licensed with the State of Colorado since 2004. The program has participated in the Colorado Shine quality improvement program and is rated at a level 4.

Research tells us that the most crucial period in a child's development is birth to age three. My focus is on providing high-quality child care that lays the foundation for a successful future, ensuring that children learn everything they need before entering kindergarten.
Here, children are encouraged to explore and learn through child-led activities in a safe environment. I value building lasting partnerships with families, as we know it truly takes a village to raise a child, and we are committed to nutritious, well-balanced meals that support their growth.

My name is Stacey Carpenter! I am the owner/operator of Foundations Family Childcare. I am the mom of 3 amazing adult children. They were the reason I started my program.
I opened up my licensed home-based child care shortly after my 2nd child was born. I struggled finding quality child care. I made it my goal to be a place where parents felt comfortable leaving their child. I never intended for child care to be a lasting career, but somewhere in the last 20 years a passion for caring for child grew. My passion is to care and educate children during the most critical time in their development. It has become part of who I am. I love to advocate for children and their families.
In December of 2023, I graduate with a degree in Early Childhood Education form Aims Community College.
When I am not caring for children, I love spending time with my husband and snuggling my pups!
